Pete Ellison has been DJing since 1998, originally playing vinyl before moving onto CDJs, and now mixing digitally. His music collection from those 20 years is vast, and encompasses a multitude of genres and vibes from house, nu-disco and funk to techno, tech house and progressive house. He is part of a London DJ collective called Serendipity, which is formed of four friends with a passion for music and throwing underground events and boat parties. Each member plays a distinct yet complementary styles of music, and they typically play back-to-back all night at their events. Serendipity broadcast a radio show every weekend on Maxximixx radio. Pete used to host his own radio show on Passion FM, and has been guest on several pirate radio stations. Back in 2001, he ran a “word of mouth” club night called Ultrafunk for five years, which sold out 600 capacity venues at its peak. He has played at dozens of London clubs including Pacha and The Soundshaft, and has played at festivals, boat parties, woodland raves and even the dungeon of a French chateau. Long DJ sets are a speciality, with his longest ever DJ performance being an epic 8-hour set
