6th August 2010 – Mixing Podcast

A new age is being introduced in the five-year history of Mixing.DJ – one of the world’s most famous electronic music magazine. On the 6th of August the portal?s own podcast, the Mixing podcast will start. The programme will be broadcasted monthly, the resident is Deepvoice with an already made or a new promising DJ with his/her mix. For the debut programme SanFranciscoBeat Aka Profile25 proudly presents his music for listeners hungry for quality electronic music

SanFranciscoBeat Aka Profile25, Krisztián Kovács started making friends with record players at the age of fourteen. His first inspirations were DJ Newl?s tech-house setts, so first he tried to win his audience with tech-house and hard-house music. His attempts were successful so after his debut in 1996, he became the resident of illegal, notorious underground parties every month. Noone needs a better start for the beginnig of a DJ career. In 1998 he played in the biggest clubs of Budapest, such as the Underhouse nights of Club E, where he revealed the secrets of his record bag. His always widening range of music got more and more interesting. This is the reason for him to be chosen for the DJ of the reality show on Viasat 3 ?The Bar? and the DJ of the Viasat-truck at the Budapest Parade.

From this time on more and more stirring nights came to SanFranciscoBeat: he became the popular artist of the techno and proggie parties, he used the styluses in forest festivals and private parties as well as in the hip cafes and clubs of Budapest. In 2002 he became the member of the Stricltly team of Slam Jr and this was he could make his dreams come true as a producer. His pieces were published on the records of the best of album of the Club E (No Way / 2003)  and on the album of the magazine Freee (Strictly One rmx / 2004). In autumn, 2004 the E.p. called ?Stricly! Promo? was published by Slam Jr which he made together with his partner Alpha Beat/BlackNavy. The record became a success story in Hungary and abroad as well. The mix Terra published in 2005 by  Slam Jr also holds the elements of his work. In 2005 his new piece of music is introduced under the name of MB. Project made with two of his colleagues ( Grabovsky and the founder member of the MB. Project, Laci Balázs). In 2007 a new writer record was published with Slam Jr, the Monday2Sunday, which was the album of the year in 2007. After all these he made his own album for the first time, being christened as After Hours. Sounding totally incomparably it contains loads of new elements. His lately released maxi record at FADE Records brought unexpected success ? as such people as Hernan Cattaneo Chris Fortier, Jeff Bennett, or the world famous star, SASHA played it?
Some clubs where he had the chance to play:

Privé(Budapest) Pacha (Budapest) Home (Budapest) Dokk (Budapest) Bed (Budapest), A38(Budapest) Club Korona (Kecel) Dance Tuning Disco (Kiskunhalas)
