Mixing.DJ Podcast 016 By Andor Magyar

Andor Magyar was born in Zenta (Serbia), but even his surname’s meaning is that he is Hungarian. His taste of electronic music was influenced pretty much by Marko Nastic, Valentino Kanzyani, Danilo Vigorito and the local talent Cory B (R.I.P.) around the early 2k’s. He gave his debut on the turntables in 2006 with name Zell, heavily mixing underground techno and minimal club tunes of those days. Starting off with various small gigs in Serbia, he also competed in numerous dj-try outs in both his homeland as well as Hungary. It was 2007 when he first began to work with the ABLETON LIVE, which remained the programme of choice when it comes to the production of
tracks and mixes up to this day. From late 2008 Andor and Dénes Dillmann has formed The Freak Factory duo,and they started playing at larger gigs and they bagged their first residency in a beat bar in their hometown Szeged. They have played in many places in Hungary and had more gigs abroad also. And they were hosts of a radio show in the legendary online radio the Justmusic.fm for more years, co-working with the Twisted Beats duo, Domyan aka Collective Machine and Attic Ears & If-ican. Even The Freak Factory has no more gigs lately, Andor is still active at producing various styles of techno, so follow us on Beatport and Soundcloud, and don’t forget to like us on Facebook! ;)
