SOLOMUN has played a major role in redefining European house music. With his productions, remixes and DJing he took the very building blocks of house, deftly reconstructing them with a modern twist.
Having been a respected underground producer for a number of years, his stratospheric rise in popularity kicked off in 2012. After a legendary first season on Ibiza with his ‘Diynamic Neon Nights’ at Sankeys, he has been playing and winning awards all around the world. ‘Solomun +1’ is his new concept at Ibiza this year, taking place at the legenday Pacha.
The head Diynamic Music has always kept both feet on the ground, still, he’s not afraid of taking the audience on a journey. About his style where deepness, funkyness and human voices go hand in hand in a very musical way Solomun once said: ‘People have emotions. So why not on a dancefloor?’
Running two successful labels (Diynamic and 2DIY4), being the head one of the most respected and highly rated Underground Clubs in Germany (EGO) and hosting his Diynamic Radio show which is broadcasted in about 30 countries: it’s all connected through Solomuns passion for music.
Doing everything in the same way as he manages the variety of influences on his music, with a soft touch, a little dance move and real honest commitment to ‘Doing It Yourself’.
